Our approach to work is one of simplicity, honesty
and pride. We believe that a website should look good, it should
load quickly, and should have the right information in the right
place for each user. It should communicate exactly the message that
you want to get across.
We have developed our own process for designing websites, logos,
and printed work which means we can always provide you with the
right answer.
The story
Our process begins by defining the goal of the project, and the
reason behind the company. If you do not know why you are doing
something, or in which direction it is going you will be lost.
We define exactly what the requirements are for the website, or
the logo, or magazine advert. We listen to what your business is
about, how it started and what your core values are.
The plan
Once we have defined the core values for the project, we will begin
to conceptualise the project. We will outline what is involved in
the work, and present the findings to you, along with design mocks
to help you make a choice on the final design.
The design
After the essential planning stage, we will carefully build your
website and carry out the main testing involved, using different
browsers, platforms, and involving various levels of users who will
help us to make the site as easy to use and functional as possible.
This is to make sure that the initial structure of the site is correct
and works well.
Throughout this process, you will always be involved to ensure
everything is going to plan, and that your new website is meeting
your own expectations, as well as your users.
The content
Once the site has been designed, and the structure and navigation
has been tested thoroughly, we will begin to work on the main site
content. For database driven sites we will create the database back
end and any driven pages as required, and then integrate this with
the main site.
The main site content is now designed into the framework and the
whole site is built around the content, and tested along the way
in different browsers and using different scenarios.
The launch
Once the site has been created and all of the main content has been
entered, we will move into the final completion stage. This includes
uploading the website to the testing server, and thoroughly testing
the entire site including links, spelling, layout, grammar, colours,
browser support and so on.
The whole site is tested to destruction and once we are happy,
and you are happy the site is launched to the public and carefully
monitored over the next 3 months.
The site is then registered with the major search engines, site
email is configured, and any training is given.
